in growth companies across a variety of sectors that harness technology and touch today’s digital consumer while disrupting the status quo. We work with a variety of companies and clients seeking investment and expertise across the digital landscape. We are not a traditional venture capital fund or advisory firm. We are a group of entrepreneurs who also invest our own money, time and expertise while actively partnering with you and industry leaders to drive change. Today, we have invested in more than 20 startups across a variety of sectors including financial services/fintech, crypto, clean infrastructure, biotech, and genetics.
Who We Are
Michael Kopeikin
Founder & General Partner
Michael is a senior digital and finance executive with over 18 years of experience across finance, strategy and digital transformation in key industries including telecom, media, technology, financial services, healthcare, and retail with a particular focus on digital transformation and automation, media performance, ecommerce, ad tech and artificial intelligence. He is passionate about how digital is changing the way we learn, sell, and do business while understanding and engaging consumers better in an increasingly digital world. Michael is currently Vice President, head of growth marketing for Gap brand at Gap Inc. responsible for digital strategy, innovation and media investment in New York. He previously served as senior vice president at Publicis Groupe dedicated to global digital strategy and performance for select key clients. He led investment strategies across digital media and technology while also serving as a member of the firm’s global digital leadership team. Prior to this role, Michael was part of a strategy and operations team at Mindshare (WPP) servicing Fortune 500 clients. Michael began his digital career at Google where he led new business and product development strategy across YouTube and Google Maps in Central and Eastern Europe. He began his finance career in New York City in investment banking and private equity at Morgan Stanley and Jefferies & Co. in M&A. Michael holds an MBA in Corporate Finance, Investments and Advanced Analytics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds an MPA in International Economics, Policy and Digital Transformation from Columbia University. He is fluent in French and Czech.
Kyle Bransfield
Advisor & Investor
Kyle P. Bransfield is Founder and CEO of Union Acquisition Group and leads its SPAC and Private Capital Businesses across multiple strategies. Mr. Bransfield serves as an Independent Director of Moolec Science (Nasdaq: MLEC) and Procaps Group (NASDAQ: PROC), and was formerly an Independent Director of Bioceres Crop Solutions (NYSE: BIOX), CEO and Director of Union Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: LTN) and CEO and Director of Union Acquisition Corp. II (Nasdaq: LATN). Mr. Bransfield has over 15 years of experience in public markets investing and SPAC management, and direct equity and debt private markets principal investing, capital raising, and investment banking. In addition to running Union Acquisition Group, Kyle established a SPAC asset management and investment banking business at EXOS Technology Financial Partners in partnership with former Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan and spent five years at Atlantic Pacific Capital managing the firm's global direct private placement and structured investment activities. Prior to joining Atlantic-Pacific, Kyle was an investment banker in Sagent Advisors’ Private Financing Solutions Group. Prior to Sagent, Mr. Bransfield spent over six years as a Principal and General Partner at CS Capital Partners, a Philadelphia-based multi-family office focused on alternatives. In his role he co-managed a portfolio of direct investments, served as an observer to several boards of directors, and fulfilled operating roles within portfolio companies. Kyle began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Stifel Nicolaus Weisel and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from American University.
